Day 1: ARRIVAL; Arrive at your holiday centre at La Bréole village.
"La Bréole" is a typical mountain village situated on the "Serre Poncon" lake. From here you have access to Provence (South) and the glacial alps (North). This trip is based in a holiday camp, which offers excellent services and amenities to families. There will be different activities available each day of your stay.

Day 2: EXPLORE the village at your own pace.
If you choose to leave the holiday village, enjoy a gentle walk to the lake shore and back. Relax under the Provence sunshine (300 days p/a) or bathe in the swimming pool to cool down. Welcome drinks are provided at 11 a.m, which is known as "apéritif" in France, which will give you a chance to meet other guests. In the afternoon, try a guided walk to start off your activity holiday.

Day 3: PROVENCE VISIT or MOUNTAIN BIKING/HORSE RIDING. Choose one of the following activities:

• Explore the south as far as "Forcalquier" where you can visit the local market. The "Salagon" museum and gardens, within an old medieval monastery, exhibit all there is to know about lavender production and the rich aromatic flora in Provence.
• Spend half a day mountain biking through mountain tracks or depending on the age of your children, maybe pony, horse and donkey riding may be more enjoyable.

Day 4: HOLIDAY CENTRE'S ACTIVITIES.
The activities will be held at the holiday centre and categorized by age group. The trips vary from rock climbing, archery, guided walks, kayaking, boat trips and other games. There are also amenities provided by the holiday camp, such as tennis, table tennis, trampolining and a swimming pool. Furthermore, if you would like some family time, take one of the forest walks from a nearby village and visit a lifeguard patrolled beach.

Day 5: GLACIER TRIP or BARCELONNETTE VISIT. Choose one of the following trips:

• Take a road trip to "La Grave", a village at the bottom of "La Meije" (3983m). There are fantastic views of Ecrins National Park along the way and there is a cable car to bring you up to 3200m where you have a spectacular views over the glacier.
• Visit "Barcelonnette" town and its lively market, or if you are feeling more adventurous try out "white water rambling" and let the current be your guide. Another option is to visit the animal park where you can meet some wild animals.

Day 6: HOLIDAY CENTRE ACTIVITIES.
Take advantage of the activities provided by the centre and try one or more of the following: rock climbing, archery, guided walks, kayaking, boat trips and other games. There are also amenities such as tennis, table tennis, trampolining and a swimming pool for you to enjoy. If you would like a family day out, set off for "Morgonnet" summit, which is between "Durance" and the "Ubaye" valleys. The views over the lake are amazing.

Day 7: HOLIDAY CENTRE ACTIVITIES.
Today join in the fun with some great activities provided by the holiday centre. There is rock climbing, kayaking, archery, walking trips, boat trips and other games. If you prefer, you can play tennis, table tennis, bounce on the trampoline or make a splash in the pool.

Day 8: FAREWELL or EXTEND YOUR TRIP?.
Meet your France Outdoors rep in the morning.
Then spend some time at your own leisure in "La Bréole" before leaving for the airport.
