Marrakesh - Menara garden

Day 1: ARRIVAL - Marrakesh
Meet with our France Outdoor guide, Vincent at Marrakesh airport.
Transfer to a 2* Hotel in a quiet part of the city.
Discover Marrakesh lively ambiance; let the colours, odours and constant activity bring you to another world. Or take the time to visit one of the beautiful town monument or garden.
In the evening, welcome meeting to go through the program of the week.

On the way to Tichka pass.

Day 2 - TRANSFER - Join the start of the trek through Col Tichka
Meeting with Abdou, our local guide, an early start in 4 wheels car will bring the group to the starting point of the trek. On one of the most spectacular road , you will go through green valleys before reaching Tichka pass and enter the Atlas mountains. From there the landscape turns into reds to join the amazing dry lake of Iriki. Meet with your team in charge of the camels luggages transport and start an easy and short walk to join the camp for the night.

Day 3 - WALK - Dunes of Erg el Rhou - Dunes Mazhil
First walking day through the dunes of the Moroccan sahara. You will discover the desert sand away from the usual tourist tracks and taste the authentic desert way with the camels walking with the group. Under the tamarix bushes shadows, our cook will provide the group with a nice lunch and kids will love rolling down the sandy slopes!

Day 4 - WALK - Dunes de Mazhil - Dunes Chgaga
Going East, you will follow the dunes to join the highest and most beautiful ones: dunes of Ebbidlya. Amazing views. Maybe we will cross the road of Berber families leaving the sahara to join the Atlas mountains with their cattle (camels and goats) for the summer season.

Day 5 - WALK - Dunes Chgaga - Oued M'hasser gate
Today, you will walk toward the Djebl Bani chain, the landscape slowly changes from sandy desert to mineral's one as soon as we approach the more mountainous areas. In the afternoon, stop at the gates of the oued M'hasser. Then, enter a spectacular canyon, cliffs hanging over your heads with impressive picks.

Day 6 - WALK - Gorges M'hasser - Oasis Boutwama - Aferdou
Going North, you will discover amazing rocky spurs of the Djebel Bani.
You will stop for lunch in the hidden palm grove of the Oasis Boutwama with its unique well. Then, you will arrive at the foot of the Aferdou Sahli where the camp is waiting for you.

Day 7 - WALK - Aferdou - El Feija - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, cross the Djebl Bani through Foum Lachar pass where the view over the Feija valley is breath taking. Down to the valley, the cultivated fields contrast with the dryness of the previous days. Here, transfer to Zagora with 4X4 cars; enjoy its beautiful palm grove and stop for lunch.
You will join Ouarzazate, the door of the desert, the best town to do some shopping in the souks. Why not visit the cinema studios (optional activity) where "Gladiators", "Asterix & Cléopatra" and other movies were shoot.
Stay in a 2* Hotel in Ouarzazate for the night.

Day 8 - TRANSFER - Ouarzazate - Marrakesh
After breakfast, transfer to Marrakesh via Tichka pass.
Either stop for lunch on the way between the two towns or in Marrakesh.
In Marrakesh, nicknamed the red City as the medina is cercled by red ramparts, enjoy its lively ambience, visit some monuments or enter one of its peaceful gardens (Majorelle or Menera gardens).
Stay in a 2* hotel in Marrakesh.

Bye, bye!

Day 9 - FAREWELL!
Spend the morning at your own pace in Marrakesh and transfer to the airport.
