Day 1 - JOIN Marseilles at any time
Join the hotel "L'Esterel" in Marseilles at any time. Located at 15 min walk from the “Vieux Port” you will enjoy the heart of Marseilles at its best. The “Vieux Port” is the hub of Marseilles, lined by its quays filled with fishing boats and yachts, surrounded by small streets teeming with seafood restaurants and shops.
Meet with your France Outdoors tour leader for the week and go for a meal in a nearby restaurant, plenty of selection near the vieux port.

Day 2 - TRANSFER TO FORCALQUIER, hiking or biking in the afternoon
In the morning, transfer to the 2 star hotel, “Le Grand Hotel” in the medieval town of  Forcalquier.
In the afternoon, pick one of these two activities below:
•Self Guided Biking: Discover “Provencal” villages
Enjoy a nice and easy ride (max 3 hours) to discover the area, the superb villages of Pierrue and Nozelle.
•Escorted Hiking: Lure Mountain
With your local guide you will be immersed in the heart of “Haute Provence”. Around 4 hours walk.

Day 3 - FORCALQUIER MARKET, hiking or biking in the afternoon
In the morning, discover Forcalquier market. In the afternoon, pick one of these two activities below:
•Escorted Biking: The undiscovered Provence
Your guide will escort you by minibus and carry your bags. Explore the eastern part of the area (4 hrs max).
On Option: possibility to stop near Volx at the olive tree ecomuseum.
•Self Guided Hiking: Walking in the Luberon
Enjoy an easy walk from Forcalquier up to the Mourres plateau from where the view is breathtaking.

Day 4 - TODAY IS FREE to explore Forcalquier.
At your own pace, take a stroll in Forcalquier, capital of the Haute-Provence during the Middle Age.
During the day you can also enjoy one of the optional activities selected below:
On option try a air balloon trip or a tandem paragliding flight; fantastic experience!
On option go for a short walk with a guide and learn the local flora natural benefits.
On option take a short ride to the Salagon Abbey.
On option go on a horse riding excursion around Forcalquier.

Day 5 - ESCORTED Hiking or Self Guided Biking
Pick one of these two activities below:
•Self Guided Biking: Get a feel for the local history
Today you will enjoy a superb loop in the heart of the Pays de Forcalquier among fields of lavender and poppies, through a 5 hours max ride.
•Escorted Hiking day: Verdon Gorges
Walk in the spectacular site of the Verdon Gorges, renowned worldwide (4 hrs max).

Day 6 - SIGHTSEEING EXCURSION or Self Guided Biking
Pick one of these two activities below:
•Self Guided Biking: Enjoy Provence in full!
While cycling, the Luberon will be revealed to you through its network of “secret roads”.
During the cycling day possibility to stop near Volx at the olive tree ecomuseum. Price from € 5
•Sightseeing excursion and Vineyard visit
Visit the Provençal Colorado and the natural ochres. Finish with a wine tasting session, “Cote du Luberon”.

Day 7 - TRANSFER TO Marseilles Discover the second French city at your own pace.
Transfer in the morning to Marseilles and the hotel “l'Esterel”.
-On option take a guided tour by bus of the city, duration 3 hours.
-On option take a boat trip to the Frioul island (30 min crossing).
-On option go sea kayaking and explore the Mediterranean coastline with a guide.
-On option take a pass for the day for Marseilles tour bus, stop at any of the 16 stops and take the next one.
-On option discover the coast of les Calanques up to Cassis, fantastic views over the Mediterranean coast.

Day 8 -  FAREWELL!
Leave Marseilles at any time.
